As a Senior Javascript Engineer, you will be responsible to ship production-grade solutions to all of our 30.000+ stores that run Vitals. You will be part of a team of smart & motivated engineers, designers, and product managers building e-commerce apps used by more than 150 million people worldwide every month.

• Closely work together with Product Managers and Designers to ship solutions achieving outcomes.
• Be part of the development process end-to-end, from the analysis phase to writing and reviewing code, up to monitoring the features in production;
• Work mainly with TypeScript and Preact/React;
• Write tests using tools like Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright;
• Implement and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability;
• Act as a mentor for less experienced people and speak up in front of more experienced colleagues when you know your idea can add value;

What we're looking for

• +5 years of Frontend Development experience;
• Thinking in tradeoffs. You know there’s no right or wrong solution, it’s always about the pros and cons.
• Proactive mindset. You will be contributing to identifying what needs to be done and coming up with suggestions if you think that the current solution is not the right one from both a technical and product point of view;
• You are challenged rather than frustrated when an "impossible" task comes your way;
• Communication is part of your core. Always bring up an issue before it becomes a blocker;

Bonus points if you have

• Experience working with multiple Frontend Frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.);
• Strong VanillaJS knowledge;
• Experience with performance optimization techniques both in terms of page loading and compute-intensive tasks;
• Advanced knowledge of build systems (Webpack, Parcel, Vite, etc.).
